Barb Jacobsmeyer PT, BS, MA, President & Chief Executive Officer
Barb Jacobsmeyer was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in June 2021. Jacobsmeyer came to Enhabit from Encompass Health, where she served as the company's executive vice president of operations. She joined Encompass Health in 2007 and served as CEO of the Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Louis from 2007-2012 and then as president of the central region from 2012-2016. Prior to her time at Encompass Health, Jacobsmeyer served as chief operating officer for Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from St. Louis University and her master's degree in health services management from Webster University.
